I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful it was for Katrina and Anthony and our families to have experienced having a wedding at Gatherings.  The timeless, historical backdrop was the perfect venue for our daughter's nostalgic 1940's themed nuptials. While witnessing the ceremony in the elegantly decorated sanctuary, the magnificent vibrantly stain glass windows provided us with warmth from the winter chill.  Our guest were amazed when they entered and observed the picturesque view of a reception hall that reminded one of a diminutive old world mansion.  The beautifully decorated oval tables provided a bewitching ambiance with ivory table linens and satin overlays, accompanied by festive red linen napkins.   Gatherings staff were not only professional,  but also offered to show an interest in the needs of our guests and wedding party.  Many of our guests enjoyed listening to the classic  music that was provided, however out of everyone's view from the upstairs balcony.    The majestic grand staircase was accentuated with miniature twinkle lights that offered the newlyweds the opportunity to make a luminous entrance as husband and wife.  The bridal room complete with a crystal chandelier and soft lights provided the perfect background for gorgeous bridal wedding day photos. 

 

As the mother of the bride, I must say that Patricia Pagan was really a godsend.  My daughter was living out of state, so many of the decisions laid on my shoulders.   Unfortunately, I fell ill the month before the wedding. When I spoke with Patricia she was so kind and patient  So when we met to finalize the plans, she eased my mind and worked with us.  Her advice to me was, "relax and try to enjoy this special day."    Throughout the ceremony and reception she was always available making sure all ran smoothly.   She even checked on me to make sure I was handling everything ok.  She took most of all the stress off of me and my daughter.  The food was delicious, the service was topnotch.  Being Italian, we had baked many assorted cookies.  Patricia and staff displayed our cookies elegantly on  trays.  All we had to do was bring the cookies to the kitchen.   Even down to the decorations, Gatherings offered to provide us with wedding bows, tulle and just about anything else we would need to individualize our decor.  All of these factors made for a most memorable wedding.   I still have guests who tell me that was a "Stunningly, beautiful wedding.   One of the guest told me over the holidays, that that was a wedding unlike any wedding they ever attended.
